Beagle

The Beagle has a short, dense coat in the colors white, black and brown. In addition, floppy ears and large, gentle eyes characterize this breed. Beagles are known for their friendly, lively personality and intelligence, but also for their voraciousness.

As pets, Beagles are very popular as they get on well with children and other pets and their energy and stamina make them suitable as active companions for walks and outdoor activities. As they don’t get too big, they can be taken anywhere, making them well suited to city living.

Beagles were originally bred to hunt with a pack of dogs. Accordingly, they are very social with other dogs and like to search for game with their nose. Beagles need consistent training and must be kept sufficiently occupied.
