English Setter

The English Setter has an elegant and athletic build with long, slender legs and a gentle, expressive face. Its white coat is of medium length and silky with black, brown or orange patches.

English Setters are known for their intelligence, energy and friendliness. These dogs are very social and have a strong bond with their owners. They are also friendly and affectionate with strangers and can be a great choice for families with children. However, English Setters tend to have an independent, stubborn character and therefore require consistent leadership and a clear hierarchy. However, they are also very adaptive and respond well to positive reinforcement and consistent training.
