Jack Russell Terrier

The Jack Russell Terrier is a small, energetic breed of dog with a short, smooth coat that is usually white with brown and/or black patches.

Jack Russell Terriers are very active and need plenty of exercise and mental exercise to stay happy and healthy. They are very intelligent and have a strong personality. Although small in stature, Jack Russell Terriers are very brave and often have a taste for adventure. They are known to be very loyal to their owners and make excellent companion dogs, provided they are well trained. However, they can also be a little stubborn.

Jack Russell Terriers were originally bred to hunt foxes. Accordingly, they show a pronounced hunting instinct, which must be kept under control through consistent training.
