Lagotto Romagnolo

The Lagotto Romagnolo or simply Lagotto has a muscular build and a dense, curly coat in white, light or dark brown.

Lagottos are very intelligent, active and curious. They need regular exercise and mental exercise to stay happy and healthy. Lagottos are also very teachable and easy to train, they are friendly and affectionate dogs that form a close bond with their owners. They often have a fondness for children and are also compatible with other pets.

These dogs were originally bred for truffle hunting and therefore love activities where they can sniff something out.
