Miniature Pinscher

The Miniature Pinscher or Rehpinscher is a small, muscular and athletic breed. The short coat is shiny and black or brown in color with light brown spots. The breed is known for its robust health.

Miniature Pinschers are very lively, curious and intelligent. They are considered easy to train, but also have a strong personality and can be stubborn. Miniature Pinschers are affectionate and loving towards their owners, but can bark loudly at strangers when they want to defend their territory. Due to their small sizesse they are well suited to living in apartments in the city. Miniature Pinschers have a high energy level and need daily exercise and mental activity.

Miniature Pinschers are descended from dogs that used to accompany coachmen on their journeys and guard their belongings. They were also supposed to keep the rats and mice in the stables at bay. Even today, the dogs are still very active and have a certain hunting instinct, especially towards small animals.
