Street dog

A street dog is usually a mongrel that is the result of crossing two or more different dog breeds. Mixed breeds can have different sizes, colors and temperaments depending on the breeds they come from. Natural mating without human influence results in unique and interesting combinations in street dogs. They are considered very adaptable and develop survival strategies by living in groups or foraging for food from garbage or waste.

Due to the diversity of their ancestry, mixed breeds are considered more robust and resilient than purebred dogs. They are also less susceptible to certain genetic diseases that are more common in purebred dogs. However, dogs on the street often suffer from parasites and malnutrition if they do not have access to regular grooming or medical care.
