Konnichiwa! My name is Brisko, I am an 8 week old Akita Inu male – strong in expression, gentle in heart and ready to find my new home. I come from a proud lineage and have all the qualities that are valued in a true Akita: Dignity, intelligence, loyalty – and of course a fluffy coat to fall in love with.
I’m already observing what’s going on around me. I’m a quick learner, but I also like to think for myself. I’m not a clown, I’m more of a little philosopher – but if you gain my trust, you’ll have a companion for life. I am calm, balanced and alert – and will one day be a very dignified companion.
I love being outside, pawing quietly through the garden and exploring new smells. Exercise is good for me, but I also need mental tasks – little challenges where I can use my brain. I want people who respect my independence and at the same time train me lovingly. If you guide me clearly and give me security, I will follow you with respect and devotion.
I am still young and am learning every day. I am training my first commands such as “sit” and “here” with a lot of curiosity and concentration. I am also slowly getting used to the harness and I already find driving in the car exciting. I am looking forward to clear structures, loving consistency and calm attention – it won’t be loud with me, but it will be deep.
