Hello there! I’m Mara, a 9-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog – big, fluffy, curious and ready to win your heart. My coat is shiny black with pretty white and rust-red markings, my eyes are friendly and alert, and my nature? Loyal, cuddly and full of joie de vivre.
I’m at the perfect age to really get to know the big world. Walks in the countryside, first trips to the café, adventures together in everyday life – I like to be involved in everything. I’m curious, smart and a quick learner. I am already practicing basic commands such as “sit”, “here” and “wait”. Especially when you have treats in your pocket, I’m fully concentrated!
As a Bernese, I tend to be more leisurely, but I love being outdoors – be it in the garden, on a walk or exploring new paths together. I like to alternate between activity and tranquillity and enjoy being out and about, but I’m also happy to spend relaxed moments with you. With my size and strong build, I need space and people who know that even big dogs need a lot of closeness, guidance and understanding.
I am very people-oriented and love to be around. Whether you’re working, cooking or relaxing on the sofa – I like to lie close to you. Cuddling? Always happy! I would like a home with a heart, structure, patience and enough time for attention, training and activity. A garden would be great – but it’s not a must as long as you’re out and about with me.
