Hi, I’m Asta, a 2-year-old Border Collie with a keen eye, a fine nose and a lot of heart. I’m not just pretty – above all I’m clever, attentive and ready to go through thick and thin with you.
My head wants to be kept busy. I love learning new things, solving little tasks or being out and about with you. A walk in the forest? A search game in the meadow? A trick with a reward? I’m right there with you! I quickly memorize what you want from me and am happy to do it – especially if you treat me fairly.
I am house-trained, know the basic commands, ride in the car without any problems and sometimes stay alone without whining. What is important to me: I need people who can read me. They notice when I become insecure or when something is too much. I am sensitive, but resilient – if people understand me.
I usually like other dogs as long as they are not pushy. I appreciate respectful interaction and like to play, but not frantically. I get on well with children if they are gentle. A quiet household with active people who enjoy being together would be ideal.
I am not looking for a home in which I simply function. I’m looking for someone who thinks, feels and lives with me. A place where I can be a dog, but also a partner. I am ready to give my heart away – if you give me the space I need.
If you’re looking for me, get in touch. I’ll be waiting.
Your Asta.
