Hi, I’m Gracey – a 2-year-old English Gordon Setter mix with a heart of gold and a look that looks deep into your soul. My silky, multi-colored coat with warm markings is just as unique as my character: friendly, sensitive and full of energy.
I love exercise, nature and good company. Long walks in the forest, running across fields or simply sniffing and watching outside – that’s my world. I have a strong hunting instinct, which is not surprising given my background. That’s why I want people who are active, have patience and show me how to get through everyday life together with loving consistency.
In the house I am calm, cuddly and sensitive. I can immediately sense how you are feeling and like to be close to you – without being intrusive. I appreciate rituals, security and a firm place in your heart. I get on well with other dogs as long as they treat me with respect. Cats? You’d have to see – sometimes I’m a bit too curious.
I know the basic commands, walk properly on the lead and am a good passenger in the car. I learn new things quickly, especially if I am treated fairly. I am house-trained, keep to my rest periods and know when it’s time to relax. Even in unfamiliar surroundings, I behave confidently and show myself openly.
