Hi, my name is Silver and I’m a six-month-old male Yorkshire Terrier with shiny fur, curious beady eyes and a pretty big heart for my small size. I know I may look like a fluffy toy – but please don’t underestimate me. I’m lively, brave and clever and don’t just want to be cute, I want to be a real part of your world.
I love being out and about – plodding through the leaves, tracking down new smells or simply letting my ears flap in the wind. It doesn’t have to be long walks for me, but I want to experience something every day, move around, think and be in the thick of things. I also like to be active in the home: I can do little tricks, I’ve been house-trained for a long time (really!) and I listen attentively when you talk to me.
Cuddling? Oh yes, that’s my second great passion. I prefer to curl up right next to you – on the sofa, in a basket or on your lap, if you let me. I am very people-oriented and get on well with friendly children. I like other dogs as long as they are not too rough. I’m small, but I don’t put up with everything.
I want a home with someone who doesn’t confuse my size with weakness. Someone who wants to learn, laugh and share life with me – with respect, clarity and a lot of heart.
